Structured Origination & Finance Junior Analyst Intern

Structured Origination & Finance (SOF) team sits within the Strategy & Business Development department at TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping and is responsible for the origination, structuring and distribution of transactions with financial angle that are aimed at creating mid to long-term new trading flows and contributing to the P&L of TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping division. The role-holder will be based in TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping Geneva office and its primary responsibility is to support the members of the Structured Origination & Finance team with the assessment, structuring and implementation of transactions.
Prepare information package for further internal and/or external presentation
Maintain a weekly report consolidating details of all projects reviewed by SOF team
Follow a market intelligence report based on available sources for the team benefit, including review of competitors activities relevant for SOF activity
Help handle the relationships with various sources of liquidity and risk distribution to optimise the amount, cost and structure of each project
Internal: team members, traders, finance, compliance, legal and senior management
External: counterparties, banks, insurers, institutional investors
Final year of master’s degree in finance, economics (or equivalent) or school of engineering
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, in particular excel for financial modelling
Languages: fluent in English, any other language is a plus
