We are currently seeking a Senior Safety Engineer with propulsion and mechanical systems experience to join a pioneering, long-term program with a world-class OEM in the aerospace industry. This role is based in one of Switzerland’s most breathtaking regions, offering an exceptional quality of life.

Minimum requirements:

What You Bring

Advanced degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Aerospace Engineering or related field

10+ years of experience in aircraft safety is desirable

Proficiency in conducting Safety Assessments for civil aircrafts

Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety Assessment (SSA), and proficiency in Fault Tree Analysis and Common Mode Analysis (CMA)

Hands-on experience utilizing SAE ARP 4754B standards for the development of civil aircraft and systems

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adaptability in approaching challenges, with a capacity to work independently and proactively find solutions

Strong teamwork and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within the company and with external stakeholders

Professional proficiency in English

Eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work permit required)
