As the Senior Planner, you are at the heart of our production processes. This exciting position offers a wide range of responsibilities, providing you with the opportunity to showcase your skills and dedication. Your job scope is enhanced by the upcoming project to roll out the new ERP which also offers the opportunity to develop yourself further as a core member of the project team.
Capacity-/Supply-Planning and Production Planning
- Long range capacity planning for the Swiss plant (semi-finished/finished goods)
- Develop and support the implementation of production strategies for the Swiss plant
- Plan and coordinate intercompany supply and demand
- Production Planning for the Swiss plant
Material Management and Inventory Planning
- Demand planning for raw materials, components, and other categories
- Call off of intercompany product categories and certain other categories
- Monitoring the supply from intercompany and external sources
- Inventory Planning of raw materials and all other goods
Management
- Analysis of the production yield and provide insights for the improvement of the production processes
- Monitor and manage the optimization of the entire Demand-2-Supply cycle, ensuring adherence to the service level agreement
- Contribute to the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency
- Lead and mentor planners and deputize other team members
- Preparation and presentation of reports to senior management
- Close coordination between Group S&OP, Production, Sourcing, and Sales
Project Management
- Own the planning and supply process design across departments in the future ERP
- Develop and present concepts to stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in industrial engineering, production management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in demand and production planning
- First experience in leading teams, either as a project manager or department head
- Proficient in ERP systems (MS D365) and production planning tools
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with lean management and Six Sigma methods (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented thinking
- High resilience and ability to work well under tight deadlines
- Willingness to embrace flexible working hours to support our dynamic business needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Strong communications and data visualization skills
- Fluent in German and proficient in English (C1 level)
