About the job

Are you passionate about industries that work with temperatures above 1200°C? We are looking for a Project Manager Sales who will support the sales and promotion of the RHI Magnesita Advanced Technologies portfolio. This includes electromagnetic sensors, flow control systems, infrared cameras, refractory application machinery, automation, and robotics – for all industries served by our company. Furthermore, in this position you will coordinate and manage sales projects, as well as propose suitable process improvement solutions. Your customer-oriented mindset and perseverance will make you the ideal contact person when it comes to building solution packages that bring benefits for our customers. 

In addition, your tasks will include

  • Keeping close contact with customers and following up on projects throughout the entire life cycle
  • Issuing, controlling, and releasing quotations for your sales projects and aligning business models with RHI Magnesita’s business units
  • Attending relevant exhibitions and supporting the sales projects with relevant marketing material
  • Ensuring general market awareness
  • Willingness to travel between 20 and 40% of the work time

You are a strong communicator with a collaborative attitude. With your great enthusiasm and creative mindset, you bring new ideas to the table, not only as an individual but also together with your colleagues. You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. With your hands-on mentality, structured approach and analytical skills, you proactively seek to improve the status quo. You see change as something positive, can adapt quickly and you like to courageously help shaping the future of RHI Magnesita. 

What we expect from you in terms of 

Education & Skills

  • A technical university degree, preferably in the fields of process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
  • Affinity for the steel industry and understanding of project management and sales processes 

Languages

  • English – Proficient/Fluent
  • German will be considered an advantage
  • Any further language will be considered a plus 

Work Experience

  • Professional experience in technical projects and sales towards the steel industry or similar
