Responsibilities
• Assisting the VAT Compliance Specialist of the group with the preparation and submission of
o Swiss and EU VAT declarations
o Intrastat declaration for several group entities
o Turnover and input VAT reconciliations
o alcohol/ excise duty declarations
• Assist the head of tax with VAT and Customs audits
• Working with the treasury department to ensure VAT payments are made on time and VAT refunds are received and monitored
Experience and Qualifications
• At least 3 years’ experience within a finance, accounting or tax department of an entity or 2-3 years’ experience within a tax advisory firm.
• Willing to learn and to travel from time to time.
• Fluent in English. German language skills are desirable.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Experience with NetSuite / Oracle desirable.
