The main tasks and responsibilities include

  • Assisting the traffic team with issuance of documents for negotiation under different payment instruments such as Letter of Credit, Documentary Collection, Advance and TT Payment
  • Booking of invoices for deliveries into our in-house system to record the purchase or sales
  • Checking freight/storage/inspection invoices received from different companies and preparing them for payment based on traffic inputs
  • Preparing files for final liquidation
  • Booking of and following up on deliveries with different hauliers
  • Various other admin tasks on regular or ad hoc bases as needed by the traffic team

 

The ideal candidate

  • Excels in collaborative environments while maintaining a versatile, autonomous and flexible approach to their work
  • Ready to adapt to international practices
  • Efficient and well-organized working skills, good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work and communicate with people from various multi-cultural backgrounds
  • Interested in Commodity Trading with the option to eventually move to a future traffic position
  • Good know-how in using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • A solid educational background (commercial apprenticeship or similar)
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Current Swiss B/C permit or Swiss/EU passport holder
