- Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting activities and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Participation in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process including consolidation
- Preparation of business data and analysis of Trade P&L
- Participation in the annual budgeting process
- Assist in financial and tax audits
- Assist in implementing and management of projects in finance and accounting
Your Profile:
- Must have a professional certificate in finance and accounting
- Must have several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in commodity trading company structure
- must have good knowledge of accounting standards OR, ideally initial knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER 2 | P a g e
- Fluent in English and German. Any other language would be an advantage.
- Confident use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and ERP systems, including Quick-Books
- You show a high degree of personal responsibility
- You have a down to-earth personality and a “hands-on” way of working
